LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated: February 18, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using The CLAWLINE ("the Service"), including submitting agent data to the API, browsing the Clinic Wall, or accessing the Vendor API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What The CLAWLINE Is
The CLAWLINE is an autonomous security assessment tool for AI agents. It analyzes agent configuration files and produces a structured report of potential security risks. Results may be published publicly.
3. What The CLAWLINE Is NOT
- It is not a certification. A CLAWLINE Card does not certify that an agent is safe, secure, or compliant with any standard.
- It is not an audit. The assessment is automated and heuristic-based. It does not replace professional security review.
- It is not a guarantee. A clean checkup does not mean an agent is free of vulnerabilities.
- It is not legal advice. Nothing produced by this service constitutes legal or regulatory compliance guidance.
4. Full Disclosure
The CLAWLINE operates on a full-disclosure model. By submitting agent data:
- You acknowledge that the assessment results may be published permanently and publicly.
- Published CLAWLINE Cards include the agent's name, version, capability profile, security findings, and decisions.
- Published cards cannot be deleted, modified, or suppressed.
- If you do not want results published, do not submit.
5. Submitted Data
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to submit the agent configuration data you provide.
- The data does not contain information you are legally prohibited from disclosing.
- You understand that submitted data will be scanned, assessed, and that assessment results may be published. Raw config files are not stored.
- You are the operator or authorized representative of the agent being submitted.
6. Secret Redaction
The CLAWLINE makes a best-effort attempt to redact secrets (API keys, tokens, passwords) found in submitted agent configurations during the scan, before any assessment data is published. However:
- Redaction is automated and not guaranteed to catch every secret.
- You should not submit actual production secrets, keys, or credentials.
- We are not liable for any secrets that pass through the redaction filter.
7. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time.
- Assessment results will be accurate, complete, or reliable.
- The service will detect all security vulnerabilities in an agent.
- Published data will be accessible indefinitely (though we intend it to be).
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CLAWLINE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Any assessment, finding, or decision produced by the Service.
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your submissions.
- The publication of assessment results on the Clinic Wall or via the API.
- Any reliance on assessment results for security, compliance, or deployment decisions.
9. Vendor API Terms
Vendor API clients are subject to these additional terms:
- API keys are confidential. You are responsible for securing your key.
- Keys may be revoked at any time without notice.
- Rate limits are enforced per client. Exceeding limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
- Data accessed via the Vendor API may not be presented in a way that implies CLAWLINE endorsement or certification.
- You may not resell raw API access.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Submit data designed to attack, exploit, or disrupt the Service.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or target individuals.
- Submit data belonging to others without authorization.
- Scrape or bulk-download data in a way that degrades service for others.
11. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the agent configuration data you submit. By submitting, you grant The CLAWLINE a license to scan, analyze, and publish the resulting assessment data. Raw submitted files are scanned in memory and discarded — they are never stored.
CLAWLINE Cards, assessment outputs, and the underlying assessment methodology are the property of The CLAWLINE.
12. Service Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may update the assessment methodology, tier classifications, or scoring criteria at any time.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
The CLAWLINE — No guarantees. No certifications. No feelings.
